My practice deals with family law issues. To
me, that means more than representing a person in a divorce. It means representing a family member in a variety of situations
that a family member may experience. The common theme in all of this, regardless of whether the case involves a
transaction or litigation, is teamwork and planning. A client succeeds in negotiations or at trial because the time
and effort have been taken to develop a plan of action that most effectively addresses the problems, the facts, the available
resources, and the applicable law. What I do is work with the client and any other person or professional, including
the opposing party's attorneys, to develop the most effective plan of action for the client, sell that plan
of action to the other parties or, if necessary, a judge and assist in completing and enforcing that plan.
